Whether you’re a tourist or not, summer is all about festivities! So we’ve put together a list of our top picks for you to make sure you don’t miss out.
In Béziers, do as you please
Here you are! The oldest city in France… with over 2,700 hours of sunshine a year! We’ll tell you all about the programme that awaits you!

Every evening at 10pm and 10.30pm (until 22 September) on the Place Jean Jaurès, the musical fountain will be staging an aquatic sound and light show in a colourful setting: come and stroll along the renovated Allées Paul Riquet, sip one of our rosés on the terrace and take in the summer decorations on the square, sure to delight young and old alike!

The Madeleine church, one of Béziers’ most charming monuments, awaits you every evening at 10.30pm and 11pm for a sublime sound and light show that will dress it up from both sides! Before or after the show, take the opportunity to explore the squares and narrow streets of the old town!

Every Thursday on the Allées Paul Riquet, from 4 July, there’ll be an unmissable opportunity to get together from 7pm to 11pm… a €5 tasting pass to discover our local winegrowers, music, restaurants and more!

Béziers Nights from 16 to 19 July: a host of great artists are waiting to thrill you and get you singing! The line-up includes Vernis Rouge, Larusso, Koxie, the L5, Maeva Carter, as well as… Bakermat, Charles.J, artists from The Voice and 2000 voices for Queen! The Béziers Arènes are going to be rocking… so hurry, tickets are selling like hotcakes!
The Féria from 14 to 18 August: for 5 days, Béziers will be alive with bullfights, parades, shows, bandas and bodegas. Ever since the arenas were built, this has been THE city’s flagship festival.

Valras, the seaside resort par excellence and awarded the Blue Flag please! There’s something for everyone here every day… ready, set, go!
We start on Mondays with the night-time craft market, where you can stroll around in peace and quiet!
Tuesdays from 7pm to 11pm, a rendez-vous for all the bon vivants with our best winegrowers, live music groups and local restaurateurs.
Every Wednesday in July and August, at 9.30pm at the Théâtre de la Mer, you’ll be treated to the Summer Tour, with a host of well-known artists performing French and international songs.
Fridays are allowed: from 10am to 12pm “Green Fridays“, a variety of workshops offered by the town with the aim of raising awareness of the environment in a fun way! And in the evening, we’ll get you dancing: bal musette, DJ nights or Zumba Party.
Did you say Flamenco? La fiesta Flamenca on 27 and 28 July is a whole weekend dedicated to flamenco, withintroductory courses in rumba, dance shows and live bands, plus bodegas for refreshments! Olé!

Are you a nature lover? Then head for Les Orpellières, with its Natura 2000 nature reserve. Here, the Maison de Site offers a wide range of activities, including a belvedere offering 360° views, a hiking trail, exhibitions, a senovision system, a treasure hunt, a gourmet corner and children’s games.
Every summer, the team at the Maison de site des Orpellières offer you a rich programme of activities based around nature, art, sport and well-being: horse riding, yoga, guided tours, afternoon tea workshops… not forgetting the famous free evenings “Jazz under the stars” or “Theatre under the stars“.

weekly events in Sérignan
From 6pm to 11pm, at the end of the day, to make the most of the fresh atmosphere, Art Tuesdays offers a market with over 50 exhibitors showcasing their work and expertise!
Wednesdays from 9pm to 11pm are guinguette nights, a chance to dance the summer away on Place de la Liberté! Come and get your groove on!
Producer Thursdays take place at the administrative centre from 6.30pm to 10pm: it’s THE meeting place for food lovers… a market of local producers with products to delight both the eyes and the taste buds! You can also grab a bite to eat on site and enjoy the musical entertainment provided by live singers and musicians.

But that’s not all: the summer programme includes concerts, plays, skits and a teen night: a programme of evening festivities starting at 7pm from 5 July to 31 August.
On Friday 19 and Saturday 20 July, take part in the Festa Bocca, literally “festival of the mouth”: it’s sure to appeal to all gourmets. On the programme: restaurateurs, caterers, wine merchants, winegrowers and, of course, entertainment… something for everyone!
For 4 years now, Sérignan has been hosting the BMX Occitanie show! This year, the show will take place on 24 and 25 August, with a varied programme for both amateurs and more experienced riders. Come and discover a sport full of thrills!

Throughout the summer, visit the vineyard side of our Béziers Méditerranée destination… great wine tours in prospect, but also events with a local flavour:
Boujan sur Libron, 33rd horse and bull festival from 1 to 4 August.
Servian, the “guinguette serviannaise“ with its night market on Saturdays 6 and 20 July, but also on 10 and 17 August, the municipal festival “festi-Servian“ on 23 August and its traditional firemen’s ball on 31 August at the fire station. And don’t forget the Brescoudos on 6 September for fans of big bikes!
Montblanc is organising its Féria on 26 and 27 July, as well as Cultural Wednesdays throughout the summer!
