The Domaine de la Baume was founded at the end of the 19th century. Jean Prat and his sons planted a hundred hectares of vines and sold their production in Paris and internationally. After several owners, it was reborn in 2003 when Joseph Helfrich took it over as part of his Grands Chais de France group. The estate was restructured and replanted with a range of international grape varieties, vinified in IGP, mono and bi-variety. It opens its doors for events throughout the year.
