Sérignan marina is in a convenient and prime location for sailors at the mouth of the Orb.
Sérignan was the trade port for Béziers and the Western Hérault on the Orb for a long time. Nothing’s left of its past life today but this is where wheat, grapes and fabric from St Pons de Thomières was exported.
Sérignan no longer has a trade port but it does have a marina. The fishing tradition hasn’t been left behind and has gradually returned with sailing.
Sailboats and yachts now drop anchor at Sérignan-Plage port just like the carracks and ships that have been gliding past each other on the Orb and Mediterranean since the Middle Ages.
ARenovation work is currently under way to provide sailors with all the comfort and practical features they need to enjoy their favourite hobby!
