VISITE SANDWICH LA PLACE DE GAULLE

The Tourist Office has come up with a new concept: combine business with pleasure and take advantage of your lunch break in downtown Béziers for a 30-minute tour! Bring your sandwich and join us one Monday a month for a visit to a different square, street, site or character.

In October, an atypical square to discover: the Place de Gaulle, recently redesigned around the bus station and a brand-new overhead parking lot. A place of everyday life, it's easy to pass by without taking the time to observe the surroundings. However, a few traces of the past remain, revealing the history of the area: Hôtel-Dieu, girls' college, art deco sub-prefecture, traces of the sculptors Blattès, Injalbert or Magrou... All have a story to tell.
