Mandatory reservation Corneille rewrites the myth of Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar as a thriller, developing a real sense of suspense. In this adaptation, comedy and wonder border on tragedy.
Chimène's father resents the king's favor to Rodrigue's father, and slaps him in the face. Weakened by age, Rodrigue's father puts his revenge in his son's hands. But how can this be done when Chimène and Rodrigue are so much in love?
The stage is filled with joyful actors, a bumper car, a caravan, a castle and live music.
