Antoinette is eagerly awaiting summer to spend a week with her lover Vladimir! But he cancels their vacation to take his wife and daughter hiking in the Cévennes. No matter, Antoinette decides to go, but once there, there's no sign of Vladimir. On the other hand, Patrick, the donkey, is a bit recalcitrant and doesn't seem determined to accompany the young woman on her journey...
