JEP – À LA RENCONTRE DES ARTISTES

Come and discover the work of 9 artists in different galleries around the city, and talk to them about their creative techniques, their achievements and their relationship with art.

* EVA CZAPLICKI (sculpture) - 4, rue des Balances (06 32 11 41 66) : Eva? It's a quest for fluidity and bodies.
* YVES MARCEROU (painting/drawing) - 10, avenue Emile Claparède (06 82 39 02 28): Yves Marcerou works on memory and traces of the past, using a textile medium.
* ATELIER QUERVAL - 69 ancienne route de Bédarieux (06 83 61 45 98): Eliane Querval loves nature, water and the light of the Midi. For decades she has been painting and exhibiting in France and abroad.
* GELLY (painting/drawing) - 13, rue Casimir Péret (06 81 41 64 98): Gelly's showroom workshop, his paintings and creations: a world where the painter welcomes the public all year round.
* MICHEL DEROSIER (painting/drawing) -17, rue de la Coopérative (06 42 41 02 83): A naïve painter with surrealist tendencies, Michel Dérosier paints small characters in imaginary landscapes.
* ALAIN BANCE (painting) - 21, rue Solférino (06 89 38 63 00): His paintings reflect his emotions.
* JEAN-PIERRE SEO (painting) - Galerie la Folie des Arts, 11, rue Amiral Courbet (06 64 44 72 80): Jean-Pierre Seo conjures up colors with virtuosity: fiery reds, deep blues and bright yellows.
* NARBERO (painting/sculpture) - 20, rue Boïeldieu (06 12 26 42 37): Initially a painter, he broadened his artistic field to sculpture, creating Sentinelles and Dolores.
* ESPACE LALLY (gallery) - 41, rue du 4 Septembre (06 16 67 44 15): Fascinated by the singular art of Haiti, where he lived for many years, collector and gallery owner Reynald Lally presents Magie & Mémoires, a group show featuring original painters and sculptors (on view until October 5).
* LE CHAMEAU MALIN (gallery) - 9, rue Montmorency (09 53 87 84 70): The gallery mainly exhibits artists from Béziers: painters, sculptors, visual artists and photographers, including Eric Reuzé, photographer.
