As part of the "Hors Cadre" photography festival, the contemporary art venue "La Mouche" is exhibiting works by artist Olivier Diaz de Zarate (Mortelle Beauté).
Olivier Diaz de Zarate was born in 1965 in Reims. He lives and works in the hamlet of Vialanove in the south of France. His work revolves around the compulsive study of light and what it can reveal about intimacy and time. Invoking the very essence of photography-painting, without striving to paint an over-elaborate reality, he paints the light-object with an underlying narrative, giving every artist a sense of bearing witness to his or her time.
