A former student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Rouen and the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris, Claire Lamy took part in numerous exhibitions in Paris, Normandy, Toulouse, Perpignan and Béziers, after settling in the Languedoc region in the 1970s. Dealing with a wide variety of subjects, her affection is for the shadows of deep undergrowth in majestic alleys sometimes leading to a monument or the shelter of a small building.
