The Binet-Jacquet estate is biodynamically farmed on the arid terroir of the Monts de Faugères, where the vines of Domaine Binet-Jacquet are deeply rooted in ancient schist soils, with their characteristic friability and mineral content. Olivier Binet and Pierre Jacquet share a passion for authentic wines, and together they created the estate in 1999, driven by the idea that "true" terroir wines are born of the intimate relationship between winemaker and terroir. Deliberately limited to a human scale, the 9-hectare vineyard has been worked biodynamically since its creation. The estate is certified organic and biodynamic under the Demeter label. Plot-based viticulture enables the estate?s different wines to express in their own way the specific characteristics of the terroir from which they come: the reddish schists of "Bouzigues", the grey schists of "Fenouillet", or the schists of "Lentillères", combined with the different grape varieties planted, give the wines different expressions.
