The 08 March 2025
Show
11 Boulevard du Commandant L'Herminier, 34350 VALRAS-PLAGE
Mandatory reservation This series of 17 songs, recorded at La Cigale in March 2024, takes a hard look at political current affairs in the broadest sense of the term, what's in the news on a daily basis, what irritates and what touches. In their own words, we've been telling them for 10 years after every concert: "Ah, right now you've got plenty to do!"
Never facile, vulgar or gratuitously critical, they broach, skirmish and cut to the heart of polemics to provoke hilarity that transcends political divides, to the rhythm of a piano tamed by the two virtuoso hands of Clémence Monnier, guitars led by Valentin Vander, drums and percussion skilfully ignited by Stan and Aurélien Merle, synths, accordion, sometimes even electric bass, ukulele, melodicas? And, above all, the 4 voices of Les Goguettes, in turn crossing "classic" French variety (Michel Fugain, Serge Gainsbourg, Barbara?), rap of yesterday and today (Naps, Mano?), passing through the 80s (Imagination, Chagrin d?amour...) without forgetting a few theatrical moments parodying Racin's tragedy!
But now they're back on the road again, touring France and Navarre with a brand new show! Without seeming to touch it, they are continuing their velvet revolution and preparing to gently cut through the headlines with their ever-sharpening satire. Let's bet there'll be plenty to observe, mock, mock and rejoice about throughout this third quinquennium! And beyond? For them, it's never 3 without 4!
Free admission. All ages 6 and up.
