In charge of the French Archives at the French Ministry of Culture.
Jacques Azaïs is Gustave Fayet's maternal grandfather, and his son Gabriel Azaïs is his uncle. Both played a vital role in the creation of the Société archéologique de Béziers, as well as in the influence of Gustave Fayet, whose work is nourished by this family inspiration.
