Designed and built for the Béziers urban area by the architect Jean Nouvel, this multimedia library was opened in September 2008 and is a flagship for high tech sustainable development and lighting methods, and for multimedia culture. Named after André Malraux, it stands opposite the house where Jean Moulin was born. Moulin was the subject of the most famous speech ever made... by André Malraux, when the hero's ashes were transferred to the Panthéon in 1964.
