The hero of the Resistance was born in Béziers in 1899, in this beautiful Haussmannian building built at the end of the 19th century at n° 6 rue d'Alsace, where he lived until he obtained his baccalaureate
A few steps away from the monument to the Resistance fighters shot by the occupying forces in 1944. And in front of the André Malraux media library
André Malraux, whose most famous speech was precisely the one he gave at the entrance of Jean Moulin's ashes to the Pantheon, in 1964: "Enter here Jean Moulin, with your terrible procession..."
For the time being, a simple plaque distinguishes the house where Jean Moulin was born.
