On the banks of the Orb, this shady garden is particularly pleasant. There are also the Cordier mills, renamed after the architect Jean-Marie Cordier, who revolutionized the life of the people of Béziers by imagining the water supply system of the upper town. It was in 1827.
As a sign of gratitude, the engineer had the right to a real mausoleum, in the Old Cemetery.
