For its 21st edition, the Nuit des Musées invites the public to (re)discover, free of charge, two emblematic sites in Béziers: the Musée Fayet and the Musée Taurin. Visits, screenings, musical performances and artistic encounters will punctuate this evening of sharing and living culture.
At the Musée Fayet, a tribute will be paid to Béziers sculptor Jean-Antoine Injalbert, on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of his birth.
- 6.30pm and 8pm ? "Birth of a bronze": presentation and screening of Chantal Lasbats? film on the Coubertin foundry, famous for having worked with the greatest artists, including Injalbert.
- 7pm and 8:30pm ? "Dialogue between music and sculpture": musical performances (flute, horn, guitar) echo the works of Injalbert, accompanied by historical and artistic commentary by Jean-Pascal Jellal.
- All evening: "Des liens gravés" exhibition by visual artist Théo Michel, alias LAPS, with the artist in attendance.
