After its acquisition by Gustave Fayet, Fontfroide Abbey became a veritable showcase for artistic creation. A place of inspiration, it was the setting for Fayet?s fruitful friendship with Odilon Redon, as well as his collaboration with Richard Burgsthal, a young master glassmaker. A dialogue between art, nature and spirituality was born in this exceptional setting.
