Le Concert is a French-Italian-Belgian-Romanian film directed by Radu Mihaileanu, based on an original story by Héctor Cabello Reyes. During the Brezhnev era, Andrei Filipov was the greatest conductor in the Soviet Union, leading the famous Bolshoi Orchestra. However, after refusing to part with his Jewish musicians, including his best friend Sasha, he was fired in the midst of his glory days. He is still working at the Bolshoi 30 years later, but as a cleaner.
