This year will be dedicated to mud housing! Following on from the 2023 event, the Oppidum and the Musée archéologique d?Ensérune are offering visitors the chance to discover the evolution of earthen house-building techniques in the Celtic city between the 6th and 1st centuries BC.
In partnership with the "Terren l?ère" association, young and old alike can discover the techniques of adobe construction, mud brick masonry and wattle and daub. They will also be invited to build a miniature house in the image of those we know from antiquity, and take it home with them. A unique opportunity to discover these age-old techniques and get your hands dirty.
