FESTIVAL “HORS CADRE” – GALERIE ELYETTE PEYRE

As part of the "Hors Cadre" photography festival, Galerie Elyette Peyre is exhibiting works by artist Jean-Claude Martinez (Castelers).

It is from living stones that peoples build and affirm themselves as nations. This is what the Catalans do with their sardanes and castellers. The sardana that calls upon mother earth and ties hands for what was the most beautiful and political of rounds. The castelers who raise their human towers high into the sky, proving that if we all pull together, we can do anything, that entre tots ho farem tot.
