EXPOSITION “L’ART ET LA NATURE” – PALAIS EPISCOPAL

Danièle Escudié is an artist from Béziers who has been creating works on the theme of nature and the vine, her favorite subjects for over twenty years. She uses natural materials - ochres, plants and minerals - from the countryside near her home.
Her work is at once mineral and organic, with a highly personal structure where reason meets the unexpected, where mastery of technique gives way to pareidolia, where colored harmonies vibrate with materials.
The artist develops different techniques, playing with materials as medium, support or dye. She assembles, superimposes, grinds and mixes them in an alchemy all her own. She takes us into her dream-like universe and invites us to question the world.
