On July 19, 2024, Béziers unveiled the beautiful statue of Trencavel on the forecourt of the magnificent Saint-Nazaire cathedral.
Trencavel was a famous lord of the town, who became a well-known historical figure as a result of the many wars he waged against the Count of Toulouse during the 12th century.
